Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan

Complete | Gong Ji-young, Sahara Mizu | 2007 released

Everytime I’ve read this manga, I’ve cried and felt my body tense up with goosebumps, I sympathized with the characters and I wanted them both to live on together and have a happy ending.

This manga definitely had the most beautiful art I have ever seen, with every panel being gorgeous. I felt way too many emotions reading this, and man, how I wish it was longer.

This was a really sweet, short story about a man who holed himself up in his house, and his reaction to a girl confessing her love for him. The man’s hobby of stealing bicycle seats was strange, but it didn’t bother me much, it was unique. The ending felt incomplete, but in ways I totally understand what they were doing with the ending, and I felt shivers reading it. I was disappointed when I finished it.

Not a big fan of the art, but this was a sweet story that I re-read often.

Mars (SOURYO Fuyumi)

Complete | SOURYO Fuyumi | 2000 released

Has sensitive topics but handles them well, even though the plot can be frustrating at times, Kira and Rei always bounce back and leaves you with a feeling of relief. This manga also gave me a newfound love for motorcycles, they’re just so cool!

Raising a Bat

Really interesting! Although I would usually hate stories like this, somehow problems always got resolved and it felt like they never happened in the first place. Cute manhwa.

This manga made me so sad, and I related with the MC a lot. No matter how much you regret doing something, you can never change what you have done. You must move forward, realize your mistakes, don’t look back, and change yourself.
