Dreamprisoner's manga / #BDSM(2)

Kimochi no Yukue (MEIJI Kanako)

Complete | meiji kanako | 2000 released

This is definitely one of the darker yaoi manga. It was a little hard to understand at first, especially telling between the twins, but I eventually learned to separate the two. The art was what you'd expect for the average yaoi manga, except for the two Seme's, most of all Sou-san, in my opinion he looked extremely handsome. The story, again, confused me at first and parts still do, but through careful reading it was a really great story, I made an account just to rate this in fact. I'm not really a fan of threesomes, so for me it was a massive plus when the focus came away from the other two love interests and onto Sou-san, I'm also not really fond of love triangle stories for the uke who 'Can't make his mind up' so I'm glad this didn't go in that direction with the friend character. Definitely the highlight was the personalities of the two twins, Sou-san's questionable hobbies involving 'legal' drugs, and cuddling all of Keiji's dirty laundry; and You-san who has no qualms about his brothers antics except for blood being hard to wash out of sheets!

Aigan Shounen

Complete | mizukami shin | 2007 released

I absolutely adore Mizukami shin, it's always a delight to read her yaoi. Especially dear to my heart are her military manga, this is no different. To start with, the main story is very enjoyable, except for my developing a strong dislike for his two brother/fangirls who were tied to his hip, however I think it might have done better standing alone, since after I read Godo's story, all my attention was given to that, which was so funny, and enjoyable to read. The ending had me in tears. I hope that perhaps she returns to this story, and shows Godo's future, though its implied he finds a replacement in the great grandson? (Excuse me if I'm wrong). I'd love to see a separate sequel for that. I'll admit I avoided this manga for a while because of the 'tragedy' label. I think it was worth reading for the first story, which isn't a tragedy, and what happens with Godo was honestly worth enduring for his story.
