…is corporal punishment an actual thing in some places? as in, it’s actually legal?? the fuck??? update: i just googled it and it is, in fact, legal. unbelievable. edit: i’m loving the story!!! i simply detest the whole notion of corporal punishment and violence in general, though. especially considering it just births even more violence that no one wants to take responsibility for. it’s a vicious cycle… quite literally, lol. i don’t really believe in morality (or any other social construct), but i fucking DETEST hypocrisy. don’t go around hurting other people if you can’t take a fucking hit yourself. treat others the way you’d want them to treat you. that’s it—it’s all there is to it!!! that should be common sense. fucking hell. anyway, daddy’s fucking haaaawt. his behavior kinda turns me on, lol. i don’t care how ‘violent’ he is, he could fuck me up any day. (and yes, i’ve got issues. i legit don’t care.) humanity’s trash and there’s nothing we can do about that, but sheeeesh. if i hit someone, i’d expect them to hit me back. (quid pro quo, my man!) it doesn’t mean that i will or even would, but at least i wouldn’t go around blaming other folks for being aggressive if i’m a physically aggressive person myself. but personally, i try to be the change i want to see in the world—as cliché as it sounds. and just as i’ve said before, i don’t particularly enjoy violence, but it is what it is. if someone were to hit me, i’d say i have every right to hit them back. i simply choose not to because it’s not something i wish to be an advocate for. still, this is a work of fiction and i know how to separate reality from that. i probably wouldn’t find a guy like this very attractive in real life, lol. well, maybe. i think…? anyway, all is fair in love and manhwa, as the saying goes!!! (although i might’ve paraphrased a bit.) edit #2: wow, he’s such a legend. what a badass bitch, omfggg. love to see it!! he’s like karma incarnated, lol.

holy FUCK, this shit is hot. and depressing. but mostly hot. equally as fucked up, too. this is basically proving that my moral compass truly is shattered. edit: well… these days, i’d say it’s 95% fucked up and 5% not. i’m very intrigued about season three, though. this last episode was a complete 180 from the last episode, sheesh. there’s excitement prevalent once again!!!

this is amazing! i just wish the translations were of better quality, but it is what it is. i could just wait for the chapters to be released on webtoon, but i’m not exactly known for my patience, lol. perhaps i’ll do that, anyway! great quality content for free. ;)

I didn’t even notice that I hadn’t marked this as ‘completed’ once i did, in fact, complete it back in July. Either way, it’s most definitely ONE. OF. MY. FAVORITE. YAOI. GRAPHIC. NOVELS!!! (As of late 2021, at least.) Fucking hell, y’all. The sex was so hot I thought I’d die pretty much throughout the whole thing, fuck. I kinda miss it… It’s been almost six months since the last time i read it, sheesh. I still remember it as if it was yesterday! I might actually go back and reread it soon. I remember really liking its conclusion, too. I enjoyed the (toxic) dynamics between our two mains, but I especially liked how it’d thoroughly changed by the time we reached the end of the story. It kept me captivated, that’s for sure!!! By the way, these were my notes while I was actively reading it: “i’m simping for vasya so. very. hard. (yes, i have issues.) but FUUUUCK MEEEE, HE’S SO FUCKING ATTRACTIVE!!! i literally start to get wet every single time he opens his mouth. GAAAAWD.” I guess it should tell y’all something, lololol. This was a good introduction story for me when it comes to unhealthy relationships, violence and toxicity. I’d never really entertained the thought before this, but maaan, it set the bar. Especially considering I’ve read more graphic novels with similar tropes, characters and characteristics than I can count on all my limbs at this point in time… and this one is still among the top few in which I can recall most details vividly and explicitly. Amazing. Anyway, you guys should definitely check this one out if you happen to enjoy violence, RIDICULOUSLY hot mafia men, as well as hot, steamy sex. Low-key getting wet just thinking about it, FML. (TMI but IDC.) Later skater!!! edit: by now, it’s mid 2023, and i’ve read this twice… and i’m definitely still a fan. it was a lot shorter and than i remembered, though… and kinda emotionally lacking, too?? like, their yoon’s feelings literally came out of nowhere all of a sudden. the whole thing felt kinda rushed because of that aspect, but other than that, i don’t really feel the need to add much to my previous review. (vasily’s smirk still gets me all hot and bothered, lololol.) still, to be fair, it’s been nearly three years since my first rodeo, and i’m bound to have much more ‘material’ to compare this manhwa to, no? so yeaaaah, i can’t really say that it’s all that ‘steamy’ compared to all the others things i’m reading these days. if anything, their smut’s actually pretty tame… graphically speaking, i mean. i do love me some intricately graphic sex. ;) but anywayyyy, that’s about it.

omgomgomgomgOMG!!! literally just finished ‘at the end of the road’ for the umpteenth time just a minute ago and noticed this by accident, i already know that my whole damn year has been blessed. ;_; edit: 17 chapters later and i’m still rejoicing. <3 edit: 20 chapters in and i can officially allow the ship to set sail!!! edit #2: A 19+ SIDE STORY IS COMING OUR WAY!!! SIGN ME TF UP.

man, i’ve missed this. it’s been so long since i read this that i’ll probably reread it once i decide to continue. it’s been FOREVER. anyway, i’m looking forward to it!

i haven’t even started yet and i can already tell it’s bound to be a five star, lol. edit: 0.0 whoaaa. this really IS exotic, lololol. or toxic, more like… an odd duo either way. really intriguing thus far!!! edit #2: this is so good, man. i love the ambiguity of it all! as well as the dynamic between the main characters. really, this one’s an enigma to me. so much toxicity… yet i honestly can’t help but wish for them to get together. i just want them to start fresh. however, and whenever, their story ends, all i wish is for them to be happy respectively. or, if i would dare dream of more, i wish for them to make each other happy. maybe that could be a new start. they’d have such a long way to go, though… and this is not something i’d normally want to see, but i feel for these two. really, i do. humans are beautifully flawed creatures… and i love how the creator truly demonstrated that here. this is really, really good. melancholic and depressing, without a doubt, but so fragile and delicate all the same. i never thought i’d say this when i first started out, lol! there are so many complex mental issues they need to work through, seriously—jung jaehan especially. he might be one of the more damaged characters i’ve ever come across in the world of manhwa thus far, lol… which should say a lot. anyway, it seems as though there’s one one chapter left of the main story, so i’m excited to reach its conclusion! and i’ll be even happier to see its continuation. ^^ edit #3: reading the side chapters and my heart is finally dancing. <33 edit #4: …um, i take it back. they’re both preeeetty damn fucked up in the head, seriously. why do they treat each other like this, and WHY do they not seem to hate it? or at they both just… masochists…? this is pretty wack, not gonna lie. still love it, though. NEVER. this is fiction, and it should stay that way. still, it seems to me like they’re FINALLY initiating a true healing process for once... (that’s new, lol.) knowing that they’ll choose to stay together nonetheless, one can only hope that they’ll work on their respective issues and look for solace in each other instead of seeking out doubt and self-destruction all the time. i suspect they’re on the right path, though. i believe in youuuu, ya toxic man-children!!! i’m feeling pretty content now after having read the side story in its entirety… i thoroughly believe they’re going to be okay.️ (P.S.
