This BL is based on an essay made by a Japanese gay activist. I can see this happening in a lot of non accepting countries... i understand that at least some of them genuinely didnt mean any harm. In their narrow mind, they just thought that homosexuals are "bad" for no reason. They didnt want Nanasaki-kun to be the "bad guy". So they just told him "youre not a sissy" without knowing the consequenses of it. But obviously that just deteriorated Nanasaki-kun even more. He became aware that everyone doesnt want to accept his true self. Thats the worst... Also, very fitting that "shimanami tasogare" is recommended on the "people also like" section. You should definitely also read that.
