In a dystopian future and desperate for money to buy medicines that will save his brother's life, Yukichan agrees to sell himself as a sex slave and undergoes "pet training" from his friends, Masashi and Ryuu, in order to prepare for the auction. Zaria's smoking hot stories often cross a line into soul-crushing abuse, but this one is saved by Masashi and Ryuu, who are so cheerful and lusty and protective, it is impossible not to heave a sigh of relief at the not-so-surprising ending.

Natsume hides his depression by burying himself in work and overtime, but neglects his home. Touji is a cleaner at the company he hires to shovel out his apartment. On the pretext of losing his phone in Natsume's apartment, Touji handcuffs him to his couch, tells him he has had a premonition that they are meant to be together, and procedes to fellate him. Natsume is outraged, but after an electrifying start, Fujiyama Hyouta tones the story down to something much more subtle. The appearance of Touji's cousin sets up the premise of a mystery, but it isn't revealed in this story. Readers have to tackle the sequel, Akutai wa Ude no Naka de Futatabi, for that.

Tora is an ordinary server at a Japanese bar and restaurant until his sister is fleeced by a pyramid scheme and he helps her out by accepting a job for a brothel keeper, as chauffeur and bodyguard to Shiro, a male prostitute with a taste for rough trade. (3) The lover who absconded with the hedge-fund manager's petty cash comes crashing into his past when a yakuza enforcer shows up and asks him to resume his duties as the heir. To put him off, the lover gives him a task he thinks is well beyond him: to make love until he comes. Interesting and with an authentic vibe, but not particularly realistic. Monden Akika has a thing for Ojii-samas and scruffy men.

Again, I'm always surprised by the low ratings which Rocky gets when her stories are so nuanced. For all the emotional insecurity they appear to inspires, this mangaka's work is not as ambiguous as it seems.
