Akutai wa Toiki to Mazariau

Complete | fujiyama hyouta | 2005 released

Natsume hides his depression by burying himself in work and overtime, but neglects his home. Touji is a cleaner at the company he hires to shovel out his apartment. On the pretext of losing his phone in Natsume's apartment, Touji handcuffs him to his couch, tells him he has had a premonition that they are meant to be together, and procedes to fellate him. Natsume is outraged, but after an electrifying start, Fujiyama Hyouta tones the story down to something much more subtle. The appearance of Touji's cousin sets up the premise of a mystery, but it isn't revealed in this story. Readers have to tackle the sequel, Akutai wa Ude no Naka de Futatabi, for that.

Smile Kudasai

Ongoing | Mio Junta | 2000 released

A series of short stories which positively erupt with Mio Junta's sparkly yaoi magic. (1) A boy is scared of an over-enthusiastic suitor who might be a stalker, until his suitor backs off. (2) A college dorm roommate is afraid of invading his lover's space ... These stories explore the edge between eager confessions and coming on too strongly. The illustrations, as typical of Junta Mio, are gorgeous.

Chicken Stalker

Complete | TAKARAI Saki | 2000 released

Nope, no WTF!Japan moments here. No bird-luvin' or eating of eggs that may contain the embryoes of your half-chicken children like in one manga which will remain nameless. Here, chicken means wuss in the wateriest sense of the word, and Tatsumi is one gay stalker who can't even talk to his prey without dissolving into tears. When Queen of the BDSM Floor Show, Rai, gets the handsome bouncer/receptionist Taira to look after his stalker problem by teaching Tatsumi a little discipline, has he chosen the right sadist for the job? Takarai Sai can really lead readers into some strange back alleys in the city of yaoi, but this hasn't turned out to be one of them ... yet.
