I've never made such a serious comment before but this story is an exception because it was just so beautiful. The two characters are both flawed in a way that shows they are just normal human beings and that they are not perfect. They both had their strong and weak points that they had to conquer. Mature as they Nakasawa may seem but he is also still young and struggling to be a father at a young age. Bambi was very relatable in a sense that she felt that she does not belong anywhere, a real home to be exact where you feel welcome and you can be yourself. With regards to their development as a couple I love how the relationship between the two doesn't involve too much external conflicts like the usual jealousy or possessiveness (I want you all to myself, don't look at other guys/girls besides me, dont you dare make even eye contact with them blablablabla) couples have in other shoujo manga. They both looked for happiness and contentment and they found it in each other. I also loved the way their love developed like there are really some feelings that could never change but as they grew to know more about each other, they found strength, and they learned to move on and keep going. Overall the story was beautifully crafted that it didn't move my emotions too abruptly, it wasn't too light and it wasn't too dark either. Wonderful story, carefully paced character development, relatable characters.
