Supportive and sturdy male lead, with a strong and intelligent female lead. Panel arrangement is also a plus ++ with the added metaphors. Story is heartwarming but adds enough political intrigue to keep you hooked. The romantic aspect doesn't interfere with the plot itself, which is quite refreshing.

I come back to this every now and then just to relive the story. It's one of the few soul transmigration manhwas that I've appreciated, and it's BL nonetheless. Our MC tries to get by in his piss poor everyday life, until one day, on his way to his dingy apartment, he gets hit by the classic soul-transmigrating truck. He finds himself in the body of a young, feeble high school boy who seems to have survived an attempted suicide. He tries to navigate his way in this new life, but he's in for a treat once he meets his childhood friend, who's now paying an oddly excessive amount of attention to him. The story, along with how the artist worked with the panels really did wonders with the pacing. The mutual pining, prolonged moments of sexual tension hanging by a thin thread--ah, chef's kiss. That said, I felt that it ended without tying some loose ends, like the redemption of the main villain being somewhat lenient. Don't get me wrong though, I did love how it ended: not too stretched out nor too abrupt. Overlal a BL worth the read, and every damn reread. This is an author I'm definitely going to be keen on.
