This is good. It's not rushed, it's careful, wholesome and healthy. What really did it for me was after their second kiss, when XXX immediately regrets forcing YYY to kiss him. Usually in Yaois it's pictured as forceful = sexy. Here, his own behavior makes him want to vomit. This is when i realized the author wouldn't buy into the unhealthy BL tropes.
Then later on she continues to avoid typical unhealthy relationship tropes and that's really cute. I also love how long she waited before drawing sex scenes since obviously they were teenagers. And how much her art improved ??? I love seeing that
Overall it's a cute feel-good slice of life BL and I like it. I don't feel very invested in it but I like them
