Ch. 1-2: Detective Hishima’s lover is former colleague and detective, Enokizu. He is still sore over an unresolved incident that occurred 3 years ago that caused Enokizu to quit his job as a detective. Ch. 3: A guy trying to pass the motorcycle test to become a motorcycle police officer keeps being surpassed by the new guy. The new guy says to him that he is bleeding on his neck and suddenly licks it. The new guy suddenly goes to take the test and they make a promise that he will also pass the test in a month. Ch. 4-5: A police officer goes to the beach to catch and release fish, but there is this silent guy that just stands there. There is a new case and the silent guy turns out to be the estranged little brother of the suspect.

College student Taichi, who comes from a not-so-well-off household and is desperately searching for work. He (literally) stumbles across fellow student Kouhei while on a job hunt, and is incredibly enticed by the delicious bento Kouhei has in hand. However, something seems a bit off about Kouhei and when Taichi consults his friends about it, he gets an answer he really wasn't expecting: Kouhei is severely hearing impaired.

Kawana Tsugumi works for an interior design company. She goes to a drinking party at a client's architectural office and happens to meet her first love. He's more handsome than ever and it isn't until he's leaving that she realizes something has changed; Ayukawa is in a wheelchair.
