It was a great manga, I liked how it didn’t explain much, didn’t feel the need to tell the readers about a cure. The story is obscure, and the storytelling is really nicely done. Though I feel like I encountered the thought that Kirie was the ‘chosen one’, the main reason for this belief is because throughout the story, she witnesses horrendous things, but she doesn’t go mad. The madness that has everyone enraptured around her doesn’t affect her, the only thing that disturbed her was the hair spirals. Although, I think this played a humongous roll for the story not to get boring, if she had suffered and wasn’t as headstrong, this manga would be boring, as she would be looking desperately for answered and a non-existent cure.
~ Overall, I didn’t think of this as horror, more like weirdcore. I read this so quickly because I wanted to get it over with… Either way, thank you for all your hard work.
