If the genre wasn't comedy, I could easily see this as a drama. Like Eigyou Nika except more heartbreaking because it isn't a "requited love" at all (it is, but the dude is too dense to realize it) Honestly, I'm just reading because I like the MC despite all the cringe and secondhand embarrassment from him. I'm really beginning to hate Gu Yiming to the point I want to kick him in the balls he doesn't even have --- If anyone wants to know how bad the seme is: they had sex together, he asked the uke for a bj. But no, he's "straight". And he keeps talking shit about gay people and claims as if they're infectious. Blegh. And beyond that, he's too fucking possessive that the uke never gets any acting roles. I dislike the school belle so much. Such a jerk tsundere that he doesn't even notice the impact of his words and actions. From the first few chapters, he's so unnecessarily grouchy. I skipped some chapters to see if there's some progress (I was at ch 10 then skipped to around ch 35 lol), and while, yes, he got jealous of the idol and it was just a joke that he deleted the files, he couldn't even bother apologizing straight up and went round about it. And in his thoughts ("I tried so hard to get those files, aren't you going to thank me?" (non-verbatim, but that's the vibes)), he's just so arrogant as if him making up for the trouble he caused is praiseworthy. Then later on, the MC warns him about the pervert teacher; yes, again, I understand he respects the teacher so he doesn't believe the MC, but really. Can't you be a bit nicer with your words? Then (I skipped again, lol) when they're already together, when he felt disappointed that the MC just willingly swapped rooms, he just had to show his disappointment but didn't say a word. Fucking tsundere my ass, you just have communication problems which you're blaming others on. I probably should've just dropped this earlier instead of skipping to see if there's hope (which I do in a lot of comics, and some of them are actually good; it's just that some of them are bad, and this is one of those).
