Nanohana Boys

Complete | Ppyong | 2000 released

I kinda want to see more. What happened with Ishida's friend? He looks like a nice guy, I hope he ends up with Yu's sister so I know she's in good hands. It also didn't show what he actually did to the bully's father (he's scary af eh) There's also Yu's friends who didn't have much screentime. And the girl who's longing for love. I kinda ship her with the non-colorblind friend (I forgot their names, sorry). Also, fuck all those rumormongers. I'm really really in love with the entirety of season 1. The pacing is perfect. The dialogues and story progression is realistic. The second season has a lot of potential though it kinda felt cut off. I get the feeling that it's because the story is going towards a different direction that the author might've not wanted to take for this story. Now... how do I buy this comics/support the author? (Is it time to actually learn Korean...)

Mayonaka no Acchimono

Complete | NAONO Bohra | 2013 released

LOI IS SOOO CUTE AND FLUFFY Hmmm, maybe I'm just not in the mood for smut rn (doubt it), but I really dislike the smut parts. They feel out of place. It's like the Shingeki no Kyojin movie sex scene. Really out of place. I just skipped them all lol, luckily there's no important convo during sex There's a volume 2 but is licensed or smth so it's not here (accg to the comments)

Iwakutsuki Bukken no Yakuro-san

Complete | aneco | 2000 released

Lol this was funny and quite unique. The ending just didn't feel like an ending though, maybe there's a chance to get new chapters when the author's in the mood

Kimi Ni Yoseru Blue

Complete | aoi aki | 2014 released

Last story deserves a 5 star, but the other 3 stories are just so-so. Ch 1 and 2-3 (is it really 2 chapters in one?) is about a transferee and his classmate. Pretty chill, though a tidbit cliche and bland. I liked how their friend knows about them just through intuition, and how he just kept quiet instead of causing drama. Ch 4 is um... idk if it's the translation or if it's just really short so the story felt like it went at the speed of light. A guy attending his unrequited love's wedding meets his senpai at the wedding. Senpai offered to be his rebound back in high school, and again now after the wedding. Then all of a sudden, MC says he actually couldn't forget senpai (as if he's in love with senpai), and that's it. That's just it. Didn't really feel any emotions from the MC nor the senpai. Ch 5 is a fantasy story about a kitsune and a dying monk. A lil bittersweet, but a lil too short. Ch 6 is the best in this anthology, which isn't just because all the other 3 are not good. I can't say anything without spoiling it though.

Inner Beauty

Complete | Fairytale | 2000 released

I had to read the flashback chapter twice before I realized it was the teacher's past life I love how they made peace with their past lives. Their old nemesis became their friends and/or mentor. But I still would've loved to see more of the process of getting there instead of just a timeskip. I hope there's more in the author's Twitter.

Let's Go, ASMR!

Complete | Pongpong | 2000 released

If only I could talk to the characters, I'd totally reply to Insung with "yes, you did have a chance if you confessed earlier". Maaaan, didn't think I'd feel bad for a third wheel. I love how Soohyun is loyal to Chanyoung despite initially being averse to dating him and seemingly wanting to treat it as a casual thing.

Dolls Code

Complete | Kinashi Runamu | 2000 released

Why did the fatty stay thin? Or is he on a diet? Like others have said, the ending was rushed. The puppet suddenly changed personality in a span of few pages (from wanting to graduate and betraying everyone to not wanting to kill the others to to graduate. I honestly get the vibe that it was all in his plan since the last line of those who helped the MCs was "we're here to follow X's (the puppet) wishes to save you" (non-verbatim) as if everything was premeditated. But the execution certainly didn't show any of that from the puppet's side (as mentioned, it just looked like he had a 360° personality change (yes, 360, not 180 lol. 2 turns)). The ending also never explained how everything that happened happened (lol, sorry poor English), just that it was ~reality~. There wasn't a build-up on the teacher's side (the teacher himself and his coworkers) on who they are, why they're doing this, etc, so it's just... surprise mathafaka (which came off bland since it wasn't given enough focus). Not to mention, the motivation behind everything doesn't make sense at all (*heavier spoilers in the midst of all the spoilers I spouted* so the goal was to make a perfect human, why take random people's body parts? Pretty sure the twins don't have a perfect body since they were poor, the fatty would probably have unhealthy organs, the head/face of the hacker is useless and his brains/intelligence has more worth, a dick is just a dick (or does he have an anaconda? Lmao)). I'm pretty convinced this was meant to be longer, but got axed so it had to be rushed. Still, I'm glad to see everyone had a happy ending (the rapist kinda got off way too easily though; after all, a common trope in shoujo (whether bl or straight) is that a person who got raped/harassed by their lover suffers from doormat syndrome who forgive their lover easily; and no, that isn't Stockholm, that's just poor writing to finish off the arc fast)). And yeah... There's a bit of bromance between the puppet and one of the characters. I guess it can be considered self-cest since the puppet has the **** of the other. Wahaha All the problems could probably be solved if the epilogue was longer tbh (lil explanation here and there). But oh well, manga industry sucks so the author was most likely forced to rush the story.

Neko x Neko

Complete | Mio Tatsumoto | 2000 released

Uke grows up taller and tries to become seme, fufu~ I kinda feel like Keita didn't prepare Satoshi enough compared to how Satoshi prepared him, but I guess it's partially because of Satoshi himself. Also, dude. Stop calling your BF straight XD you've been together for three years XD I looooove how the story went on through the volumes. A true reversible couple (unlike others which only switch once), and a very loveable one at that. I'm happy everyone around them is understanding and reasonable (I kinda hate the rival though he did apologize so...). Honestly want a continuation. 2024 edit: ueueue there's a continuation and they get married waiting for the translation

Snow Fairy

Complete | Serizawa tomo | 2019 released

I looooove the dynamic of their relationship where the uke stayed while the seme went all around the world. Different people, different priorities and personalities, yet they still meet at the same point and manage to have a compromise.
