The MC is a genius who can't keep his attention towards anything for a max of 3 hours. For the first time in his life, he experiences something different and gets hooked on a virtual dating sim game (that he developed) and a certain NPC. A lil comment about the game in the story: The game is... weird. A multiplayer dating sim? Kinda sounds like you can have an orgy if you want to, lol. Also, the fact that they can have sex in the game, while the game can transfer the sensations to the player... Totally sounds like an eroge. This is definitely a set-up for an orgy eroge (Spoilers ahead. Lots of 'em) I feel bad for the two NPC lovers who got deleted. I wish the MC could just code them back into the game as non-romanceable NPC or as a poly NPC (hence the rare rarity lol). The story went fast and a bit cringey at times. One of the NPCs is a lil creepy ngl (the npc with a lover that I mentioned earlier lol) and I find it weird that the main NPC just let him be when he doesn't reciprocate the feelings (what, is it because it's another NPC so his love meter doesn't matter? Because for players with a low love meter, he strongly rejects even just their touch, so why not the other NPC?) Even more spoilers: The hacker is weird - why would he only hack halfway through? He really incorporated himself with the NPC and leaving the NPC's settings affect him (the rejection for low love meter, the bugged love meter growth, the "shy" personality in bed (which he explicitly mentioned like "no this isn't dubcon, but I can't help react this way because it's the way I'm programmed" (v. non-verbatim lol)), and him not rejecting the other NPC's kiss (assuming it's related to his program). Or is it because he's not a genius and can't hack it properly? As for @, he's not in the wrong for deleting glitchy NPCs. Honestly, it's the MC's fault for getting sucked in too deep into the game when he's the developer. BUT! You shouldn't fix bugs when there are players around. Even if they're beta players. It's just... unethical. What if he messes up something in the game in the process and it wrecks their pc (eat its RAM and bam, BSOD. Not that bad, but it's not anything a beta tester wants to happen because the dev was messing with things while they're on. Also, I think they're testing the game as a player reviewer (like early access), not for actual beta testing where they have to find bugs - seeing their reaction to @. So yeah, a BSOD isn't fun.) Also, it's totally a set-up for a Sword Art Online-esque scenario Just imagine if he deleted the hacker and the hacker got stuck in the game as the NPC. Feels bad for @'s unrequited love though that was out of the blue

And I'm even more happy that there's a second volume ️ Poor kuma, I hope he gets a new love soon (This is ongoing, not completed. Though only the first volume is uploaded to Google)
