ALisAnimeLover's manga / #innocent(2)

Oku made Furetemo Ii desu ka

Complete | Akira Yoshio | 2017 released

The best thing about this is despite the fact that they're polar opposites when it comes to showing their love (one is flirty, the other one wants to wait for the "perfect time" and is veeery innocent), they always find a middle ground <3 <3 <3 And when the family issue was resolved, it was so darn realistic how it was anti-climactic and they were still awkward.

Itoshi no Mirai-kun

Complete | Yoshida Yuuko | 2013 released

A story about Mirai-kun's first experiences in love told from the point of view of Hibiya-kun, his childhood friend. What's amazing about this is the realistic portrayal of the innocent main character and his experiences in love. He's young. He's sincere. But that's what also makes it frustrating. Beautiful. His exes, while not exactly the worst, aren't the best, and perhaps are also learning. His first ex broke up with him not because of him not calling when the accident happened. It may have been what he said, but if you look at it closely, he's simply insecure - he wasn't there when his bf needed him, there's another guy who's too close with his bf, and most of all, he can't believe that his bf actually likes him, perhaps because of how their relationship started. The second ex... Has a lot to grow as a person, not just as a lover. He should use this experience to start going out of his shell and become more courageous. Let's be honest, not everyone knows what to do when they witness a molesting scene, it's as terrifying as when you're the one being molested. For the third ex, a lot of things remained a secret. Though I do think he's sincere in their relationship, given that he thought of bringing the MC back to Osaka. But he didn't. Perhaps, he was guilty of lying to his bf and didn't know what to say once he brings him to Osaka and admits the truth. Perhaps, he decided not to because the MC is a mere child he can't simply elope with and support. Perhaps, leaving the money was his way of apologizing, albeit shitty. If this was another story, they'd probably reencounter each other some time in the future and get back together and no one will bat an eye about it. All the chapters, had they not ended that way, could easily be a happily-ever-after story while the couple grows together as a person, or maybe not. But no, this isn't that kind of story. This is about the multiple heartbreaks a person goes through in life. Who knows? Perhaps they will also break up in the future for who knows what reason. But people grow. That's what matters.
