Kidnapping and sexual harassment portrayed here gives me mixed feelings cause yes this kind of situation exists and some may feel less lonely sharing this kind of childhood. Acknowledgement? It just isn't addressed, like their child witnessed violence so I feel the next time an adult that isn't his dad hugging his dad violence is the answer is what he will think or not if its addressed (: he'll learn violence is just one of many solutions to a situation where he felt powerless as a kid.
