Your Eternal Lies

Complete | | 2019 released

If you want a morally grey story with beautiful art, fantastic complex characters with amazing interaction/tension. I highly recommend this one! ️Spoilers ahead!! (Was written with 28 chapters available) I really love this because of how this story really blurs the line of what is truly right or wrong, What is considered a crime, what is considered a villain and what is considered a hero? I love how it takes a dive on how public figures, bad or good are glorified versions of what they truly are. I love how this one showcases how society likes to point fingers on who is ‘villain’ and who is ‘hero’. In my point of view, the two leads are both just an image for society. The FL is a scapegoat for being a sole survivor and is considered a witch, a murder, someone who does something so atrocious and ML being a figure of some sort that has done something ‘heroic’ when in reality he doesn’t feel that way at all. The FL who wants to survive who wants to speak out the truth yet only spouts out lies, and the ML who is considered a hero goes against the image of a hero because in reality he is in fact quite blunt, rude and even cruel who is suffering from the weight of killing thousands of lives. I love the view on how what is worse? A woman who killed her own husband? Or a man who killed thousands in the name of a war because you need to pick a choice? Both of them did something bad, yet is it really considered bad if they have reasons? I love the take that how no matter how you look at it, both the leads are complex and are dealing with their own struggles because of the things they experienced and how society is projecting an image towards both of them. Stories that makes you truly think is what i considered one of the ways to know that the author is successful and delivering a message or a thought. Im absolutely willing to continue reading this and would love the support the official translation once it releases. Both leads honestly just suffered alot, whether is from a personal experience (FL) or guilt (ML). They deserve to rest, and I cannot pick fingers on whos wrong whos right, whos better. Because in all honesty, both of them are the same yet very different, the complexity of their characters are really driving me in this. I would recommend reading this one if you want a story that is more of the serious side of things, the delivery is honestly fantastic
