MC: “I’m just his friend!” Tags: “Romance” Me: “mmmmhmmm…. Suuuure…” Summary: I was poor and with no one looking out for me, so I was struggling financially. Because of this, I had trouble adjusting to school as well. My only hobby was reading a fantasy web novel and imagining that I could become the main character of it. One day, after falling asleep and imagining this as usual… I woke up but instead of becoming the heroine, I’d become the villainess, Louise Sweeney, who meets a terrible ending. “Since I know the original novel, if I just avoid falling in love at first sight with the male lead, I definitely won’t have a tragic ending!” Thinking this, Louise avoids the male lead. But what’s this…? Unlike the original novel, the male lead passionately confesses his love to Louise, and the heroine, who she believed to be kind, has it in for her…?! How did this happen? Wasn’t it supposed to all work out if I just avoided the male lead?! Spoiler alert: I didn’t actually read this. I’m actually a bit sick of villainess stories where the ML (who was supposed to kill her, hello!?) falls in love with her bc apparently the reincarnator’s personality is just his type?? And the OG heroine who’s usually supposedly some uwu sweet girl is now the actual villainess?? Like it’s too formulaic for me at this point Edit: stop, I’m reading this. Also she reincarnated as a 5 year old so it’s not too stereotypical where suddenly at school they have a 180 personality flip. The 12 year skip is also early in the story (chapter one or two) so it’s not some uwu grow with me story (where you wonder when the hell they’re gonna become adults already) story is still unoriginal but not as stupid as I initially thought.
