At first I thought I wouldn't like it. The seme was a huge asshole and I didn't undestand why the uke had so much patience with him. Then I continued reading and I found not just a seme, but a guy struggling with his sexuality; struggling to accept himself regardless of society. And the uke who stood by him, probably because he understood what it meant to struggle with one's sexuality. I thought this was a basic yaoi story with an abuse trope... and found something more complex.
I loved it.
