I read the manga first. And knowing how the ending is quite heartbreaking, I put the anime on hold for a very long time. Kinda glad at least the anime gave us a bit of happy ending.
One of the best manga. The magic system, the conflict, the character. Very well written. The ending is satisfying, yet so heartbreaking. It is the most logical conclusion of a tragedy, yet I still hope for a bit happy ending. But we all know it's impossible for this story to get a happy ending.
