i am a little bit annoyed with mitsuru at first, but i can't blame him because they spent so much time together with kouchi, the feelings he had for him is too deep to forget all at once. That is why i am happy that he finally had the courage to find his happiness without that bastard. Also, i love how shougo sincerely tries to make mitsuru feel loved, understands his trauma from the past relationship, and staying with him until mitsuru realizes that he deserves to be loved again.
