I really loved this. It showed a realistic way trauma and childhood psychological issues effected the MC well into his adult life and into his relationships. He had really unhealthy relationships and stuck with them purely because he wanted to feel needed and not thrown away. And then to see his reaction when he starts this new healthy relationship with someone who genuinely cares for him gave me all the feels.
I cannot believe I felt sorry for the brother at first. And then to find out he's done it before and enjoys taking everything from the MC made me see red. The Ex and the brother are scum and deserve eachother.
