This is so well written. Such an accurate portrayal of true, raw emotions. Grief and pain is different for everyone, and how we deal with it shouldn't be compared to others. I love that the author said that. This story covers a lot of trauma, and one's journey to try and get a sense of normality back into their lives after trauma. And that sometimes, people won't always be there for you and you find that it's inevitably you who has to help yourself. People cannot help you if you don't want it. That it takes courage to take that first step, but every step afterwards will become easier than the last.
The fact that each of them have their own sad backstories was somehow humbling. That although some seemed fine on the surface, behind their mask was a different story. And I related so much to that.
Ngl. The Ex lovers story made me sob like a baby. But I'm so happy they helped each other to get better and are happy. Definitely recommend, but maybe keep the tissues nearby.
Incidentally Living Together
