"A volume of stories about seperatinand insurmountable distances.." A quote from the authors note and an apt description for this collection. It left me feeling quite down, but I liked this look into peoples lives. All of these stories sort of feel like they could occur in someway. Sort of like a small peek into the everyday sorta. I like the art style too.

I have mixed emotions about this, but I really love it. The story is told so well, it keeps you wondering what is happening next. I'm also a suck for these heart wrenching characters figuring themselves out. The major these is past trauma, they are both trying to move toward but it rule all their actions. Though mostly it's for the better because they are learning from it. My main deal is with Hayato he needs to figure out his feelings about Souma because just going along to avoid history repeating is gonna end badly for everyone. Also, I need more, what happens next?

It completely grasped me and couldn’t put it down. It was interesting to see why rogi was the way he was and see where he started. Manipulative to the very end huh? How did he end up with a kid. The wife was the most likable character in this, and boss has his moments. He has reasons for what he does and is sympathetic sort of. They arnt emotionaless creatures, more like people driven be a very specific set of principles that the ordinary person may not understand. It did well in this respect to make us understand their sides of this rough fowl dog eat dog world they live in. That bone scene was sickening...why did that have to be the moment they consummated it all? I guess it makes sense, their world of violence is pure through and through it wasnt going to be some fairtail soft intimate coupling.

Really good story telling. So angsty and has a melloncholly gloom that is sort of beautiful. And its slow paced and develops the characters and their feelings. Excellent. The feels and the art is superb. The price of fame..I couldn’t help but feel sad and think abt bts.

The way he reacted or rather didn’t react to Rion attacking him is questionable. And it was hardly dealt with at all. It just rubbed me the wrong way. Although he sort of kissed him toward the end.wait he did immediately leave after that though so I guess that’s that. Idk. It was ultimately a big NO. I liked the over all plot, but his actions hardly showed love. Also the way misaki ran away from his half hearted feelings was actually good, but frustrating too. But it forced him to realize and be up front.

Feelings left unnoticed and unsaid fr too long.

Awwww, that was so sweet. I’m glad those two kids worked it all out. They both longed for each other.

This has been on my radar for ages and I have to say i can see why there is a lot of hype. Its a well told story. Can’t say the relationship is you know healthy at all, but maybe its getting there? A well written plot.
