There were times when everything was just too cute for words! Iyo is so freaking cute.......I can't even. Kya kya(￣▽￣) Then it was all so heart wrenching seeing Fumichi abused and unable/unwilling to accept help. Though it ended happily, it was a bit vague. Though I was confused throughout the whole story, it could be things lost through translation or just a somewhat abstract story that leaves the readers to read between the lines. Loved the subtle art style, it matched perfectly with the story and the contrast and simple backgrounds made the characters stand out. I wish there were more, I would like this story developed more and an extra that had them living as a happy family.

Another great story from Yamamoto sensei, but quite a departure from her usual light comedies. A provoking collaboration that brings the reader along with Kento as he witnesses his best friends abusive relationships. Their complicated friendship prevent him from acting on his feelings until he is forced to step between them. This bittersweet journey of doubt, fear and love was a pleasure to read. Though sad at times they got their happy ending.

"A volume of stories about seperatinand insurmountable distances.." A quote from the authors note and an apt description for this collection. It left me feeling quite down, but I liked this look into peoples lives. All of these stories sort of feel like they could occur in someway. Sort of like a small peek into the everyday sorta. I like the art style too.

Bittersweet and mysterious and surprisingly introspective. A unique take on unrequited love.

(T ^ T) Poor Shiro. sniff sniff. I just want to give him a hug he's been through so much. Thank goodness Tora is their to treasure him now. I liked that it ended without showing the sex between them, it made it different, not on display and just for them. A good juxtiposition from the voyeristic display of the previous prostitution/rape.

Complicated to the extent I was just left confused... Has potential though.

Love the art style and coloring. The end was so introspective abt life and love. And real.

Wow! That was wonderful, each story got better and better. Just when you thought this is so gloomy, it was mixed with the adorable fluffy Oh! oh young. I absolute loved the melancholy tone and the funny saccharine misunderstanding. The art was beautiful and simple and illustrated emotions so well. I could use a whole volume oh Keiji and Tatsurou Kun.

Tortured with guilt and disgusted by his feelings Yuki fights to deny his one sided love for his brother in law. He feels like he is betraying the memory of his sister, but he may not be alone in his feelings. The eyes are kinda cartoony sometimes, distracting.
