This seriously should have a tragedy tag in it because this made me cry for hours non stop. SPOLIER: Seriously the parents are such horrible human beings. They can be the best parents for the youngest and oldest but not for the middle child. This was so heartbreaking and frustrating I was so upset and hurt for karina. She’s been ensuring everything for all her life, sacrificing everything for her siblings, and never being happy and filled with loneliness. But to her parents she’s being selfish for running away and not being her for her “sick sister”, always postponing every single event karina has (especially her birthday) for the other siblings and it just looks like she’s living for her siblings especially the sick one. She’s been told “your the older sister, don’t act like a child” when she literally is. “I can’t attend because your sister is sick,you won’t be upset right? be understanding.” Any child would be hurt. “Your healthy and your sister is sick” that absolutely does not matter even if your other child more weaker does not mean you have to treat your other child like she’s a shadow and never take care of her just because she’s healthy. Little do they know their oldest daughter has a year to live at most. Always blaming karina for everything and karina enduring it and apologizing saying “I’m sorry father I’ll never do it again”. You can understand why she would run away, I would run away too. A child should never feel this way, and it’s cruel for you to treat all your other children differently. Even if she doesn’t have blonde hair and has dull hair does not mean under no circumstances do you have to treat her like that. I would’ve felt unwanted and honestly if anything I would’ve just killer myself instead of living that kind of life. Those parents literally neglected karina but didn’t neglect their other children, it’s giving FAVORITISM! The father is especially the worst. After karina ran away he said “even if she was upset we postponed her birthday this is a bit much for you to run away, don’t you care for your younger sister? She’s going to be lonely.” Like he blames her for everything and it’s so frustrating cause karina is literally his own blood too not just the younger sister. Honestly this family needs to know karina’s point of view and how she feels and I hope they all regret everything and how they treated her. And I honestly don’t blame the siblings, they never did anything wrong and they actually love her unlike SOME people (hint hint parents). But even if they do love her she’s never felt affection from her parents and it’s so sad, once she discovered drawing and she showed her mom expecting to be complemented but the mom just completely ignored her and went back to complementing their oldest son. Then when the sick sister found out Katrina’s drawing she wonders why she never showed mom, well obviously she showed the mother but that mother doesn’t care about her and cares more about every other sibling except karina.
