Rello's manga / #confusing?(1)

This is a rating/comment from the standpoint of someone who couldn't make it past the first chapter. I feel as if the characters weren't very fleshed out, or memorable. It feels like the author introduced all the characters way too fast, and without impact. The characters actions were clear, but I still don't understand why some characters did the things they did. I think first impressions [of characters] are very important, because that's what typically hooks the reader in. Characters aside, I feel like this story lacked the ability to catch a reader attention early on. My opinion could be slightly bias, because I didn't make it passed the first chapter, but that itself is a problem. If I had to give one piece of advice, it'd be that they need to flesh out the characters and environment more. It's not the worst thing I've read, but I feel like this is still very raw and needs some polishing.
