Main character switches from one abusive relationship to another - possibly an even worse situation. All the love interests are rapists. :( it’s so frustrating reading this. Like the Mc is being o and isolated by someone he says only wants to dominate him and thinks it’s endearing being called a puppy. I don’t know if this is still the case - but yaoi writers really need to stop hating on their characters. Like why all the violence. and it’s not even well written. Why create a complicated situation for a story if you can’t even write about it???

Old plot dynamic involving MC being depowered and go along with the ML because plot. :/ Tired misogynistic trope found in a lot of manga, but because bl/yaoi authors are mainly women it’s supposed to be palatable since all the characters are male. MC is reduced in all aspects of life in comparison to the ML. MLs are always richer, stronger, more attractive, have social support, narrative is written in favour of their views, always right, get their way, better then the MC at anything they’re good at. Because if you bottom that means you can’t ever be ‘better’ then the top.

Do authors who create stories like this hate their protagonists? Mc gets in trouble and is depicted as the aggressive one when he defends himself from sexual harassment. No one listens to him or validates his feelings (I.e being publicly ridiculed and sexually harassed) and he’s made to feel like an ‘immature kid’ throwing a tantrum. Good god the ML is a piece of shit. Never once apologizes. Uses his power (career wise) to make choices for the MC, and is a violent asshole. Ch 4 was ridiculous. After the ML bullies the MC - MC gets hard ?????????? Wtf. Why???????????????? There was no indication that the MC liked this dude. In fact the way he expressed his anger was 100% legit. And then randomly b/c the author wants the characters to bone MC gets turned on after being patronized and belittled. Like respect your characters.

Wtf. This is awful. :( LGBTQIA2s+ relationships deserve better. Content warning: rape, sexual assault, coercion, manipulating, blackmailing, disgusting tops, abuse on all levels. :(

Story started off with an interesting premise. Would have been a cute story if there was character development/growth, no rape or sexual harassment, and a tail connections. :/
