Review 1 (May 2022): It's my first time reading this manga. From the rape part, the inner conflict of the older Uke, sensei, to the part where the clan intervenes - well if you think about it, this is just like those popular vampire werewolf stories like twilight. Everything is so ridiculously dramatic and some can be vulgar too but that's OK because they love each other. My real complaint is that this is too fast cause they pack everything in 1 volume. The rape part is always downplayed... It trickles down to dubious consent and the part where the Uke reflects about his sexual pleasures from the countless rape incidents was not even properly fleshed out - I get that this is typical in many manga stories, but come on. The first and second time were rape. The third? The Uke stabbed his rapist and was coerced to do sexual favors later on as a payback for keeping it a secret. I mean, why didn't they talk about the rape part at all? If it was normal for the Seme, doesn't mean the Uke just have to put up with it. It's just horrible. Everything seems forceful. tbh the extremes in this story is just so similar in other vampire/werewolf stories, but I feel sad for the Uke for the most part - why does he have to feel like it's OK to die after being dragged around by these bunch of dogs? But like I said, the Seme is madly in love with the Uke (not so much emotional satisfaction you can get out of this story), so all can be forgiven.
