>spoiler alert< this is one of the RARE ones in BL where the rape (and it’s still fucked up, just hear me out) didn’t feel like an unnecessary part of the overall plot. I feel like a lot of BLs include rape unnecessarily that adds nothing much to literally nothing to the plot or character developments whatsoever and at times, it’s unfortunately romanticized. HOWEVER, with this one—again, it’s still fucked up—, there’s actually a character development and not romanticized at all. His pain is real and shown and so is his healing process with a good, healthy man by his side and not some asshole Alpha like most of BL’s. Anyway, I loved this. 5/5 for sure.

This was... not good. The whole religion thing and gays is creative, but once you get deep into it it’s just... wtf did i just read. 2/5 for me

If I. could give this 0 stars I would. It was horrible. Horrible plot and just horrible characters; and the fact that people (including author) romanticize shit like this is just... if you romanticize this, I hope you have nightmares and see ghosts around your house. What a waste.

This was actually really good. The plot, the plot twists, the characters (specially the main characters)—it was overall really good and interesting. However I will say, the ending felt half assed, lowkey. I didn’t particularly like the ending at all, but the other than that, it was so good. 5/5

This.. has to be one of the most tragic BLs i’ve ever read. It was short, but very impactful. I was not expecting that ending at all—I’m just- 5/5 af.
