Yume Musubi, Koi Musubi

Complete | sakuragi yaya | 2008 released

this was so good! i came across this after reading Himegoto Asobi, where at the end i commented that even though it was cute and basically ok the one and only character that really intrigued and stimulated me in anyway was Ryou-Mei. he wasn't only good looking but his grumpy old man stick was kind of a turn on - to me. so when i saw that there was a whole Manga dedicated to him i was psyched, and the more i read the more i enjoyed myself. this was a one off, as in i don't really like - more like i cringe when there is a huge age difference between he lovers in any manga let alone Yaoi, cause its sometime borderline weird and psycho, but this was so funny and i loved not only the storyline which was believable, that even though he was straight, given time he because of love could see himself with Ao (whats more he was still the top, as opposed to most manga's that a straight guy has no problem bottoming once he is forced etc)... anyway really can go on and on cause i really loved and enjoyed this but will stop. just add that for sure this will be added to my reread list

Doushitemo Furetakunai

Complete | yoneda kou | 2008 released

this was cute in its own way, understood where Shima was coming from given his past with the Ex who badmouthed him just to remind hidden, so i got why he was so weary of Togawa's attention, let alone acting on the mutual attraction between them, and their relationship development - and why he kept "shying" away instead of jumping in and enjoying the feeling and love - the beginning of a good relationship. but given all this still annoyed me how he kept backing away and i was worried that his actions would hurt Togawa unnecessarily - and given his back-story he deserved someone to love and take care of him and not play mind games cause they were hurting or afraid. the second love story was a major annoyance to me, cause i really liked Onoda's personality and i didn't think the way Deguchi came out to him was justified, get that he was frustrated cause he was "carrying a torch" for 3 yrs but that's not Onoda's fault, and dropping such a big bomb on him and that also in such a vague way, and then running away saying or insinuating that they wouldn't be friends cause of his confession, was cowardly and manipulative! Onoda's a bigger person then me, cause if i had a friend like that i wouldn't consider them a friend any more. and that's why the 3 star rating, even though all in all it was enjoyable but i dunno if it will be reread...

Usagi Otoko Tora Otoko

Complete | HONMA Akira | 2000 released

this was surprisingly funny and good, was worried cause Richi is not only yakuza he is kinda ruff and given the high and build difference was worried this would turn into those yaoi where the little guy is forced in the name of love, and at the start it was touch and go - where i would start to cringe and relax when nothing bad happened. So the fact that the bad-guy yakuza turn out to be a big teddy bear that had a soft giving heart - was really lovely and now sorry that there is only so little. donno if this has ended or there is more to come. will have to wait and see.
