Had the potential to be really great - the art was well done, the plot was intriguing and somewhat original - however sadly this manga was discontinued.

Second time reading - whoa, this was awesome! Great plot that was paced quite well, and everything was explored succinctly. Story-telling was done nicely, and the changes in theme throughout the volumes kept everything interesting and the reader always wanting more. Character development was okay, there was an inconsistent lack of depth with Shell (e.g. reunion scene). Would have liked some comedic extras to lighten the very dramatic (but lovely) end to this manga, but that's just because I'm a girl who likes a loooot of closure :')

Promising start, but what was with that rapid ending? Could have been fleshed out into a full-bodied fantasy world but instead it seems like we got highlight notes, and bad ones at that.
