Peachyblue's manga / #Rape(1)

2/5 : Because the creator put a lot of time in the Artwork(so beautiful) of this but the story goes nowhere so far. Months ago, I had read this. It only had 30 chapters or so and I didn't remember what happened with the story and now I remember all my emotions while reading this again. Toxic, douchey seme who thinks that violence/being rough is being masculine or at least that's what the creator thinks. And that's my problem with manhwas in general, there's mostly smut, no character development, no story and just beautiful art. And I dislike that alot. The Duke treats Jace like shit, (they've had sex when Jace was once sedared and out of it, second when he's drunk and third was plain rape when he was sober) Jace also kissed him twice when he was unwilling and uncomfortable (which again, consent?) And then Duke develops feelings? So he proceeds to be douchey, violent and the whole"you and that man are smiling so you must be sleeping with him so I'll force you to into sexual acts" THAT IS NOT CUTE OR OKAY AND READERS WHO ARE YOUNG NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT. Also, there's rape too, as a "plot point" to nudge the Duke into seeing how much Jace cares about Noah(the kid he's tutoring who's the Duke's younger brother)LIKE MS.CREATOR WHAT? Assault is so traumatic, so deeply painful and to use that as a plot point? Also, no body asks Jace how he is, the Duke till then thought he was promiscuous, but still he saw him being assaulted and had no care about his well being? Instead the creator took the whole, he's under the influence of an aphrodisiac for more smut(since that's what most readers care about anyway and that's why it's rated 9 and above here)after the uke had been assaulted?! WHERES YOUR HUMANITY PEOPLE? like what? Duke confesses his love with like no sincerity ( imo the creator struggles with romantic plot points)And then the plot digressed again and misunderstandings start. Overall,if you into smut and don't care about consent( which you should care about really)or story, you can definitely read this. For me, I couldn't after 30 something chapters. I kept hoping maybe it'll get better, maybe the story will develop but nah, it relies on misunderstandings and smut. Noah was the only bright aspect of this, he was pure and wholesome and I can't take immature semes or characters who are poorly written (including Jace)
