Omfg I hated this shit, I think unrequited love is OK if, and only kf, the love if for someone that isn't in love with a prevalent character in the story or their love isn't intense and forever. It was unrequited till the end, when suddenly ,and I know it was exactly suddenly because the ML developed "feeling" over time, but it sure felt sudden. Like literally the last half of the last chapter is when the love w a s reciprocated, but it felt forced and out of pity in a way. I wish the story was longer and the ML past love got karma and the ML himself Groveland and begged for the MC's love.... MC does deserve better, so that is one thing the ML said correctly, that he himself is nothing more than trash and scum who take advantage of other's and their feeling, ultimately becoming the person who hurt him when he was younger, the person he depised so much, a monster.
