Thanks to Blaine, she learns that Jacard is the owner of an underground shop "The Secret Boutique of Dreams" where they trade illegal potions. Btw, Yersha was working as her butler under a new appearance (tan skin, black hair and eyes). He is a wanted man, known to be a dangerous sorcerer who killed the sultan's mistress/wife. He is the second son of the sultan Ganihi. His mother is one of the many concubines, with no power, so he had to grow up hiding he was a boy. But the sultan's wife Niger discovered it and threatened to kill him and his mom. Niger ended up killing the mom bc of jealousy (she received attention from the sultan). So he used his illegal powers to kill Niger. Anyway, Proud has a sister, this sister has a husband that had a child before marrying her. This child is Roselia (red hair and eyes), and she was engaged to Nathan (black hair and eyes with a low ponytail) who was to become the new right hand man of Proud since Jean died. So Verta planned to kick him out of his job and breaking his engagement. With Yersha and Blaine, they succeeded and in the end, Yersha took the body of Nathan and killed his original body with the real Nathan trapped inside. Btw I don't know who is the endgame. On the cover, Verta is turned toward the Prince and generally it means he is the final ML. But rn in the story, she is closer to Blaine (like they kissed, slept together and he confessed). Meanwhile, the Prince seems interested but has yet to make a real move. Anyway, I love both. EDIT : Blaine is the endgame but after the ending, there is a "what if" kind of. Instead, the prince/grand duke came back in time after dying without ever getting married. He came back the day Bertha was in the garden to gain his attention (? from what I remember, don't remember the chapter).
