Ibara nayuki is a professional figure skater that is famous for keep messing up during competition and his coach finds him boring for only imitating any choreography hands to him. That turns out to be his way of escaping from being in the house as his mother selfishly projecting all criticism on him "i wish you were never born", they hire a handsome russian man to be his coach that used to do ballet but retired after injuries. He have a dark background of regretting leaving his mother to his father who ends up beating her to death. he felts like his fault for stopping protecting her and felt a responsibility just disappear once he did. the coach unravel nayuki weaknesses, he reassured him after every competition, he encouraged him to wear flashier costume than an all black like he always wear and helps nayuki relax before skating. as a results it helps him improve tremendously
