After losing control of his water power, he is saved by a showy kid with the power of fire who mistakes him for a girl. He falls in love with fire kid and works to improve his own power; years later he is reunited with him at the same high school and both join the public morals committee. Water diligently pursues the now phlegmatic fire, fire's feelings start to change and he realizes water was his 1st love, mutual feelings follow.
