Don't you just hate it when the author leaves you high and dry like dude got me reading til the last page and I was so invested only to be left hanging. Either they both decided to die or they really are living the cat and mouse chase or they were able to surpass whatever predicament they're in because... love. Lol but yeah, thumbs up to the mangaka for making me think lol

I feel conflicted, but I don't regret reading this. 1st off, let's address the age for ya'll who kept yapping. It was clearly stated the year was around 1945. Most people during these times, regardless of the country or culture, don't really bother with the age. Heck, some of those who got married at an earlier age before didn't oppose to it. Check google for more info. Now the rape scene. It was definitely the major reason why I felt conflicted, however, it served as a major role for the MC's story to unfold. I felt relieved after reading the complete story, knowing that it developed into true love. At the end of the day, the MC was happy and that's all there is to it. Note: smut was really nice too QvQ
