P: Craig has been thinking a lot about death lately. Working thirteen-hour shifts to pay off his father’s insurmountable debt, taking care of his little brother in between, exasperated and ready to collapse, Craig can’t help but wonder: would it be easier to end it all? It was just an ordinary day like this when Craig stumbled onto the scene of a bloody murder. Now Craig is on the run, pursued by a criminal organization’s most lethal member: Dean. In the hunt, however, the two soon find themselves chasing anything but death. O: It was a nice read, but it didn't quite touch me... imo I didn't quite see how they both came to like each other. I did like though how they both managed to find something in the other person!

The Foul

Ongoing | Aczer,Chaepali | 2000 released

P: After the death of his father, Joo Hawon is left with his father’s astronomical debt in the foreign land of Macau. With no future in sight, Hawon works as a casino dealer, barely getting by each day. One day, a mysterious man, Kwon Taeha, shows interest in him. “Now then, let’s have some fun, shall we?” Hawon agrees, believing that they will be spending their time together in a more frivolous and light way. However, Taeha approached Hawon with both Hawon’s father and his legacy in mind, which, unexpectedly, Hawon has pretended not to know about his entire life. Hawon is faced with this stranger who claims that if Hawon accepts the proposal, Hawon will be freed from the debt that is weighing down on him. He has no choice but to accept the convincing proposal, however Kwon Taeha keeps acting differently when Hawon is the only one around. Hawon finds it annoying at first, but then he starts to get confused, because it seems like he’s growing attracted to the man who has offered him the hand of mercy without any obvious reason… O: There is something about this manhwa that somehow draws you in. It has a pretty bleak depressing atmosphere and is slow-paced. Hawon and Taeha both are really poker-faced.
