Author's note at the end left me puzzled bc how could u possibly say it's a happy end if Sei gets an ED—I mean, hello...? On the other hand, I agree that Ai should have a proper partner. Perhaps the 'happy ending' the author wanted to make was like healed & compromised platonic friendship between the two and nothing beyond that.
