He's starts spending time with him, curious about him because he's been getting close to a boy he teaches (platonically, to help out a troubled kid). Coincidentally, the kids meets the father-in-law at a club and goes out of his way to meet up with him later at a coffee shop. If the father-in-law going to end up with the son-in-law or the high school boy? Unclear. If could even be nobody, it seems like it could end up being that kind of manga.
