The first 3 chapters are about a guy who confesses to his childhood friend and tries to put some distance between them so that the friend seriously thinks about him. The problem is that he's easily flustered and forgetful and accident prone. This was a really cute story. Then the last couple chapters are about a couple of college roommates. One is in love with the other and the other notices it but likes to play around with him to see his reactions.

Shinonome is a successful playboy salaryman who runs into a pretty person, Tamaki, in a bar and hit on him, not realizing he's a guy. Then he keeps frequenting the bar to see Tamaki but tries to deny any attraction. When he finds out Tamaki is a homeless prostitute he lets him stay with him, hoping that Tamaki will quit the prostitution life. I would've enjoyed his more if I got a little more emotion from Tamaki, who's like an empty doll most of the time.
