I’m not sure what to think about this. There’s this remote village that doesn’t get rain unless a Sadao (the oldest male in the family) cries. After Sadao’s grandfather passes away he goes to live in the village, but he doesn’t know about the legend right away and becomes friends with the attentive Tomoru, eventually falling in love with him. Tomoru tells him about the legend and that he’s his guardian and his job is to make Sadao cry. Tomo doesn’t hurt him, though, opting to make him cry from sexual pleasure instead. My main issue with this is that I never felt like Tomo really loved Sadao. Then the flashback chapter was pretty grim.
