Kanou was driven to apathy after suddenly being rejected by a boyfriend, who he never doubted their mutual feelings for. Living by himself is impossible. But momentarily falling in love with frightening. Even then, his heart fluttered when a high schooler saved him at a station, and a course of events made him waver towards his boss at work. A heart swayed by a train with an unknown destination. During a local train trip, love wanders between "living" and "loving".

Taiga dreams of becoming an actor, so the first thing he does upon entering high school is join the drama club. There, he meets the beautiful, enigmatic Maria and immediately falls in love with her. Not long after, Taiga is told that she is actually a boy—but is that all there is to Maria's story?

I feel messed up after reading the prequel; I'm unsure what to feel. But man this hits so fucking hard.

My heart has been left with a gaping hole. Read the prequel first before the 'main' one, it gives much more depth for Kijima.

Wholesome story about a transwoman and her supportive wife.

Opposite attracts. Fujiwara is a negative person, always expecting the worst to happen yet very intelligent, whereas Tachibana is positive, optimistic, and happy-go-lucky but a little slow.

The theme is simple: change. Things in the past may have greatly influenced who you are now, but that doesn't mean that's all you'll ever be. Don't let it tie and hold you down. You can always work to be a better person. I really like this one. Simple concept, pretty well executed, made me shit and giggle. If you're looking to read something lighthearted and sincere, then here you are.
