So MC still not finished reading the novel asked scum fiance if he wants forgiveness, he will steal protag necklace, scum fiance gave the necklace to MC and MC attended MLs coronation. MC was known not having a filter and she brazenly complimented ML, ML reading her thoughts was flustered. Then protag appeared wearing her necklace and MC knew she was fucked after all the thoughts that ML may have read. MC then interrupted protag and MLs moment by thinking to ML that she know his secret. ML then curious invited MC to come to palace tomorrow. In the novel, ML was the only son of the king, he was cursed with reading other people's thoughts and everyone was afraid of him, including his father, so he was locked up in a dark tower for 15 years, only books to accompany him. The king died and ML was crowned king. In a banquet, ML met protag and he can't read her thoughts and Protag fell for the king at first sight. ML was curious why and invited protag to visit the palace, in time ML was at peace with protag and fell for her. Until one day, protag didn't use her necklace given by her grandfather and ML was suddenly able to hear her thoughts and he was undoubtedly disappointed. ML then knew it was because of the necklace so he asked where it was from, protag said it was from her grandfather who was a famous magician. ML then knew that magician was the one who cursed him. Enraged, ML said to protag never to show her face again. But protag loves ML and wants to be by his side. ML gone crazy and killed protag, it was a BE. MC then was scared that protag will be killed by ML. MC then kinda able to keep a secret about the novel. And ML was in peace talking with the bold MC. MC tried to look for the author of the book and discovered Rara, close aide of ML, Rara was the student of the magician that cursed ML, Rara dreamt of the future and wants everyone to have a happy ending so he gave the book to MC as she can change the future. MC then promised she will, and she also said the she will change Rara's future as he too deserves to be happy. Rara then developed feelings for MC. Scum asked for MCs forgiveness but MC doesn't give a fuck, this time Scum stole the book and gave it to protag. MC come clean with ML and told him about the novel, ML wants to read it. MC then discovered Scum stole the novel, so MC just wrote one herself, were she exaggeratedly wrote how Inlove ML was to MC and they lived happily ever after. But Rara stopped her and just gave her a revised one that will not cover his disguise. MC then planned to steal protags necklace and switching it with a fake made by Rara, ofc MC fucked up and took back the fake one. MC and ML had a date in the tower where ML was locked up. MC asked for her to wear the necklace so ML can't read her thoughts, ML accepted but ML still can read Ms thoughts and knew that the necklace was fake and MC didn't know. MC said she was cursed where everything she cooks was ginger flavored. ML want to confirm that it was true. ML had a wine and he was already drunk after a cup. MC tripped and accidentally kissed sleeping ML and escaped. In a banquet, protag called out ML and said she read the novel and knew MLs secret. ML then asked to look at her necklace and it was the real one. Protag said that she have info in lifting the curse and she will invite ML. ML accepted. ML met protag and asked for her necklace. ML wore it and he heard the magicians voice urging him to go to his residence study. Protag and ML arrived and saw a diary which ML confiscated. Protag confessed to ML but ML said he has someone precious. Going back ML saw MC and Rara together, it was that time when Rara said he needs to practice dating and MC agreed. Rara confessed to MC but MC stated she likes ML. Rara also come clean to ML saying he was the apprentice of the magician that cursed ML and he likes MC. ML said he doesn't know what love is, and Rara asked it it was okay to for him to date MC, but ML rejected it and Rara said that was love. In the diary, it was from magician and MLs uncle who was gifted in magic. MLs father was jealous and had him killed, father then said that uncle's wish was for magic cease to exist and wants to kill all magicians. So magician cursed father and ML, where father will one have one son and it was only ML. Magician tried to release MLs curse but it became too powerful and he died. He said the way to lift the curse was to undoubtedly trust. ML then confessed to MC and gifted her a necklace. Protag ordered a poison which she knew that ML would be immune of and used a spy in MCs house to use it to MCs food and sew into MCs gown the necklace. It was MLs birthday and MC made a cake , as MC was to feed ML, protag burst in and let ML read her thoughts that MC was conspiring with Rara to kill ML and he can't hear MCs thoughts. But ML ate the food given by MC and collapse. Protag was shocked and MC said that they love each other so fuck off. Then the last bit of magician healed the poison from ML and said the curse was lifted cause he trusted MC. MC was angry cause ML knew it was poisoned it still ate it. Protag was exiled and never to set foot in the capital. ML then attended MCs house party and formally announced his engagement with MC. Rara went on vacation to find his happiness.
