Not sure Chiaki loved him or was staying with him for the sex and security. Not sure Ayami loved him or wanted to possess him. Once the handcuffs came out, I felt we entered a completely different story. It's not particularly satisfying. I wonder if the idea of someone wanting to possess you is erotic to some people? That might explain this.

The spin-off to Hana and Ikkun's story. Hana's Master falls for the foul-mouthed grandson of a yakuza. September 2020 ETA: Raising this to full stars on re-read.

Because this takes place in the 1970s in the United States, it contains period-typical homophobia. It also features 2020s United States grocery pricing.
