Kanbur's manga / #Tragedy(1)

Being interested in the plot of Corpse Party in general, I read this manga as a way to my path of completing the whole franchise. Else I doubt I would have read it. OKAY good parts first, the manga made me syhmphathize with Naho Saenoki more than ever, I didn't think Naho would make such a good protagonist but I was so so wrong. Naho is portrayed as a very relatable and sympathetic character and I enjoyed her and Sayaka Oue's adventures a whole lot. The relationship between Sayaka and Naho is left kind of ambiguous but I like to view it as wlw, mostly because it mirrors my own experience and makes the story more relatable for me. The plot of the story is interesting and on later chapters the horror aspect really draws you in, if you're a fan of Corpse Party I would really recommend reading it just for the plot. Bad parts...Oh god, why are there panty shots of girls everywhere? This is especially true for vol1 where every second panel is literally a panty shot. I would like to remind everyone that these are underaged girls. At a certain point I was so fed up with it that I considered dropping the manga altogether but after vol1 the panty shots mostly stop thankfully... That said the entire sexualization of little girls is still very very very disturbing. I wouldn't except anyone to subject themselves to this but if you can overlook the faults this is, overall, a good read.
