For those who didn't understand, their family is rich, and this probably is in "near future" since clones are possible and healthy (the second part is not possible yet in real life) most country have laws against cloning so is high likely in this world too, what is not ilegal is "organs farms research" (there is some success in farming organs fit for transplant in pigs)
In the comic it is most likely that hospital was cloning entire people instead of just especific organs (if they resolved the problem of fast aging it could be cheaper and easier plus the bonus of IF the one the organs are requested for died in surgery they could replace them and say they lost memory) but in his brother case it really looked like it was done in a hurry (maybe the clones were just for organs and the nephew of the original owner didn't want to loose money as apparently the Mc parents were expecting and paying his son surgery for a long time)
Know about MC family, this is all his parents fault, they are clear narcissistic parents who put one son against the other, they clearly gave special treatment for the son who fit more in their box, they clearly had MC cuz their fist son was sick an clearly just started to care about their sick son after the other said he was gay
To me it was clear the older son knew that and knowing it he told his brother to not tell their parents, to me this itself shows he did really cared for MC, and like most he thought that if his brother "played by the rules" their parents would accept him, and the way I see it he was full of prejudice but he tried to help and support his brother "if you bring you boyfriend home someday I might not kill him" it totally looks like something a older brother would say for his sibling, and he had all right to be angry knowing his underage brother was selling himself, clearly he didn't know how to express he was concerned and he cared and is not his brother fault not to get it (this all is very realistic in a house with narcissistic parents and makes sense he being full of prejudice and not knowing how to express his feelings)
In the end MC is the one who Most absorbed his parents play, he got to really hate his brother to the point of not even care for his death if he could gain from it, he put the blame in his brother for their parents behavior and favoritism, and by the end saw all his behavior and care as a threat (being hostil to his brother picking him from his course) though I do think he loved his brother but it was so buried in all his hated and inferiority that it could only be seen in small gestures as asking for his brother when he woke up and open the door for his brother clone (I will not discuss if he letting and enjoying "doing it" was a prove, as it could be just his ego as it would mean his brother was also gay and with that he was not better Than him in their parents eyes)
This was cute for this author, I liked it but they already did such a cute end they could leave a extra of how they ended up fooling everyone, if it ended well or not, just for the fan servise, but I get this is not the author style
