I wanted to throw my phone out the window after reading the first few chapters because it felt like torture porn, but I stuck with it to see if it'd actually go anywhere and I sure am glad I did! What seemed like torture porn turned out to be a highly suspenseful turnpager full of twists and turns. I binged read it over two days and look forward to reading it again so I can catch all the foreshadowing - this might be one of those series that gets even better the second time around!
