•Camellia born an illegitimate daughter from a maquis.
•Step mother takes her in to use her
•Older brother is sickly
•Step mother uses her to secure the family's position.
•In order to do that, Camilla becomes Camelius, a boy.
•She does so between ages 12 to 16
•She joins the academy
•Many noble men are very interested in her even though everyone thinks she is a boy.
•It annoys me for a few reasons
•She just goes along with the guys
•They don't respect her (let her think for herself), which would not be the case of they truly believed she was boy. But even if they knew she's a girl, they're still not treating her equally.
•The guys are romantically interested and I find it difficult to believe that if they are attracted believing she's a boy they wouldn't be disappointed knowing she's a girl.
•Big leap between cute feminine boy and beautiful girl--which I like but the story/characters actions don't match up.
•I'd like it more if she was more cunning/calculating, assertive and was shown more of her strengths. Cause apart from her looks I don't know why so many guys are pinning for her
